COLORADO RESIDENT OFFICE SERVICE
The Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico Unit of ACA offers Resident Office Services, at a reduced rate, for
out of state collection agencies that are licensed to operate in Colorado. (We currently do not offer the
service for Wyoming or New Mexico). If you are like us, you resent having to pay for a requirement of state legislation that does nothing to protect consumers at an unnecessary cost to collection agencies! Now you can fight adverse legislation in Colorado while complying with this nuisance regulation. Unlike others who offer Resident Office services in Colorado, Associated Collection Agencies of Colorado / Wyoming will use your fees to improve the legislative environment for collection agencies licensed to operate in Colorado. We will provide a fully staffed office in Colorado that is open during normal business hours. You can print our address and telephone number on your collection notices and your agency name will be included in our signage. If you need a registered agent in Colorado, we will provide that additional service at no extra charge. We don’t like nuisance regulations any more than you do! Our unit actively and vigorously fought this legislation. Unfortunately we did not prevail. At least now you can fight back and be assured that your fees will be used to support legislative efforts to fight such regulation.
